What we publish
Plain-language explainers about Telangana Food Security Card (FSC) and ration card services. We do not offer legal, financial or government services, and we do not process applications.
Sources
- Primary source: the official Telangana EPDS Food Security Act portal. We open the public search pages ourselves and record field names, menu names and screens, with the date we checked them.
- Screenshots: taken from public pages of the official portal for explanation only. The original pages belong to the Government of Telangana. We never enter personal data into the portal.
- Not used as sources: other websites’ claims. We read other sites only to learn which questions people ask, and we do not copy their text.
What we separate clearly
- Checked on the portal: screen names, form fields, result columns and the helpline shown on the home page.
- General advice: what to do at a MeeSeva centre or Civil Supplies office. We label this as general and ask you to confirm locally.
- Not stated: fees, processing times, deadlines and eligibility limits that we could not verify. We leave them out instead of guessing.
Writing standards
Each guide has one clear purpose, uses simple words, avoids guarantees and never asks for your Aadhaar number, OTP or password. We do not accept payment to change what a guide says.
Updates and corrections
Portal screens can change. Each guide shows the date it was last updated, and screenshots show the date they were captured. If you find something outdated or wrong, write to us from the Contact page. We check the report against the official portal and correct the guide.
